Day 4 in Maui

Today was all about relaxing and taking some time to just enjoy the ocean. I started out surfing at sunrise. A friend I met from the night before let me use his long board. There was a decent swell in Kihei so I went to the beach across the street from the condo I’m staying in. It’s been years for me but it quickly came back to me and before long I was up and on my board. After that I was off to breakfast at Kiehe Cafe which has become my daily spot for breakfast. Today I dined with chickens. They seem to be all over the island, along with many other birds. After breakfast I did a little shopping at the shops in Kihei. Found a towel, some tiki shot glasses, and some shorts. Everything is way over priced but you only live once right?  Next was lounging at the pool and chatting with some friends I met from Canada. They come out every year and gave me a lot of suggestions on places to go and relax for the day. I took them up on a spot and drove out to the location. On my way I found a bunch of beautiful spots to do some shooting of our new hat I brought with me. So after stopping a bunch of times I finally found the perfect spot to relax. I set up a tent threw down my new towel and I watched the waves roll in. It felt so amazing to have nothing to do but relax and let the worries of the world go. Tomorrow will be a much busier day so for now it’s all about relaxing.
